The pergola must be installed on a solid surface to ensure secure anchoring.

Possible installation locations for Sky Pergola:

• On a terrace – an ideal choice for semi-detached or private houses, creating a comfortable seating area in any weather.
• Against the house – by attaching the canopy to the façade of your home, you get a practical and stylish extension of your living space.
• On a balcony – provides protection from sun and rain, making the balcony usable all year round.
• On a rooftop – particularly well suited to rooftop gardens or spacious terraces on apartment buildings.
• Free-standing in the garden – an excellent solution for a barbecue area, outdoor kitchen, or simply as a shelter for a relaxation space.

We have created a clear installation guide to help you assemble your pergola with ease. We strongly recommend that installation is carried out by at least two people. The Sky Pergola is designed to withstand significant snow loads, making it well suited for challenging winter conditions. During periods of heavier snowfall, we recommend leaving the louvres in the open position to allow snow to pass through and prevent unnecessary accumulation on the roof.

When choosing a pergola, the strength and stability of the structure are just as important as its appearance.

Sky Pergola systems are built with robust 120 mm aluminium support posts, providing exceptional structural stability, resistance to strong winds, and reliable performance under heavy snow loads. This combination of durability and engineering ensures year-round outdoor comfort, even in demanding climates.

The pergola has been tested in strong winds, but we always recommend leaving the louvres open when the pergola is not in use, so that the structure does not turn into a large wind trap and become damaged by the wind. 

The 1.5 mm thick aluminium used in Sky Pergola structures offers an excellent balance between strength and lightness. For comparison:

• A thickness of 1.5 mm means the material is strong and stable, yet light enough to be easy to install.
• Compared to thinner aluminium (e.g. 1.2 mm or less), 1.5 mm material is significantly more resistant to deformation and twisting.
• Thanks to this thickness, the Sky Pergola is a long-lasting and reliable choice even in stormy weather.

The roof blades are designed to create a water-resistant barrier when closed, helping keep the area beneath the pergola dry and protected during rainfall.

Rainwater is efficiently directed into integrated side gutters, which channel the water away through the structure and out to the exterior. This intelligent drainage system helps prevent water accumulation and allows comfortable outdoor use even in changing weather conditions.

Sky Pergola is designed to be virtually maintenance-free. However, we recommend lubricating all moving parts twice a year, once in early spring and again before winter.

Routine maintenance is minimal, and an occasional wash with water is enough to remove dirt and dust, helping keep the pergola in excellent condition.

The pergola is made from powder-coated aluminium, allowing it to remain outdoors all year round, including during winter.

Normal fluctuations in temperature, from cold to heat, will not damage the structure. In addition, aluminium does not rust, helping ensure long-lasting durability and resistance to changing weather conditions.
